What have
you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
I have used
a variety of different technologies in order to create my product, without
these technologies it would have been extremely difficult to create my sequence
and other aspects of my product. For my research and planning blog I used Mac
Computers in order to complete my work, the benefits of using a Mac is the easiness
of the actual usage of the computer. On the Mac I used different websites in
order to create visual work for my blog. For example I used the website
Tubechop in order to take a particular section of my video and incorporate it
in to my work , this benefited me as I could easily take only the wanted parts
from my sequence to make an easy to view clip which highlights what I wanted to
analyse in my work. I also used the Macs ability to screenshot, I was able to
screenshot certain pieces of my opening sequence which meant I could comment on
them in my work. If it wasn’t for websites such as Soundcloud and Freesound , our opening sequence
would not have been the same as we gathered all of our scores and sound effects
from these specific websites , without
this technology then we would have had to make the scores and sound effects
manually , for example finding someone who would be able to compose and perform
a score for us , this potentially could have been very expensive , not to
mention incredibly time consuming . Our
titles incorporated the usage of the web programme Photoshop; with Photoshop we
were able to make our distinctive hand print logo which differentiates us from
our other competitors .
